Job Summary

Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Guards must have or capable of obtaining a Guard Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Qualified candidates will posses minimal security experience, willing to stand for 8 or more hours, and willing to submit to a national background screening. Candidates must be 18 or older to apply for Guard card with ADPS.


Responsibilities:

This position requires that the employee must be able to perform the following duties:



Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Obtains help by sounding alarms.

Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.

Controls traffic by directing patrons.

Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

Maintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
