Houston, Texas This year Taylor Smith Consulting, a national staffing and human resource company headquartered in Northwest Houston, focused its annual company-wide day of service at The Houston Food Bank.  Staff members and their families sorted and prepared hundreds of pounds of food for Houston area residents in need of nutritional assistance.

“We encourage our staff to volunteer their time to charitable efforts year round–we see our Annual Day of Service as a springboard for continued giving.  Social responsibility is an important aspect of our company culture,” explains Taylor Smith Consulting CEO and Founder Tracy Taylor-Smith.

Brianna Carter, Human Resource Director at Taylor Smith Consulting coordinated this year’s efforts. “It makes perfect sense that we would volunteer at the Houston Food Bank.  They help families with the sustenance they need in tough financial times and we empower individuals and their families economically through gainful employment,” said Carter.
